I find fanart to be such an integral part of an artist's early years. We all have our artistic idols: comic book artists, animators, and illustrators. I for one grew up watching those before me create works I admired and aspired to emulate.

It's a wonderful way to start learning about and learning how to produce art. There's a visceral reaction in all of us in regards to what we like visually, and wanting to learn and explore and discover how an artist creates their masterpieces always inspires me to try and make my own.
